My brother Tracy named his place "Bird Valley Farm" because it sustains a large number and variety of bird species. However, only in the last six months have turkeys been seen on his land. A friend saw two of the birds on Tracy's place in the spring 2007. A month later, Tracy saw a lone hen near his house. This past November I heard a hen on the backside of the property. "Bird Valley Gobblers" was created prior to these sightings. Its story has finally come true! |
